As always the LHR15 MK5 features a 125mm backing plate and a 15mm throw in the orbit. It is capable of carrying out anything from quick paintwork enhancements to full paint corrections with ease thanks to the efficient use of power and its large 15mm throw.

The LHR15 MK5 has a number of improvements over the previous version, most notably is the new POLYSYNTHEC composite gears, which offer superior resistance to wear even under the most demanding workloads. These gears are lighter than traditional metal gears and require less lubrication, thus improving the efficiency of the motor and reducing energy loss. The result is a drastic reduction in vibration and noise, improving comfort during prolonged use.
